How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4318629 / DA97-05422A Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly

Replaced part. Working perfectly now. Better than original part. 

I ordered a new one from appiancepartspros.com . It took 15 minutes to put the new one in..Tthank you every thing working fine. 

I bought a new ice maker from AppliancePartsPros.com and received it within a week. It was a breeze removing and replacing the unit. Watched a YouTube video and it was very easy. 

Replaced two different parts. All good now. 

BAISED ON YOUR DIAGNOSIS AND U TUBE I DETERMINED THE ICE MAKER ASSEMBLY WAS THE CAUSE OF MY PROBLEMS.. I REPLACED THE MAKER ASSEMBLY AND ALSO THE WATER VALVE AS A PRECAUTION. . ALL SEEMED WELL UNTIL I FOUND A CRACK ON THE ICE BIN THAT WAS CAUSED BY FREEZING UP. I REPLACED THE ICE BIN AND THE LISTED PARTS AND MY ICE MAKER IS BACK TO WORKING FINE . THANK YOU 

New icemaker unit ordered and that solved the problem. Very simple to install .

Replace ice maker. 

Removed old ice maker and replaced it with the new one Very easy to replace. 

Replaced ice maker component. Seeing replacement part made it easy. It was literally about a 3-4 minute repair, including time to walk to basement to get a screwdriver! No video or anything needed. Just remove cover panel, disconnect cable harness, remove ice maker, insert new, connect cable harness, replace panel. Done. My family is oh so happy again. Who knew such a simple thing would have such a positive impact.
