How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016496 / WPW10184148 Water Temperature Switch

I googled the problem and it was either the water inlets or the water temp. switch. I replace the water inlet, no good yet, my old one was bad, the cold side coil had heated up and the circuit was bad. Then I replace the water temp control. It works like new. It was very easy to do and the parts were right, about half of the local parts store and shipping was very fast and postage very cheap or none at all. Probably saved $150. dollars in labor and parts. The washer was too nice to scrap.

Suspected either thermistor defective or the temperature controller. Neither could be conclusively confirmed as accurate so I replaced the temperature switch and valve assembly with thermistor. Things are working as expected now.

I looked on your website and saw there were two possible culprits; the water inlet valve assembly and the water temperature switch. I ordered both parts as they were relatively inexpensive. Your video showing how to properly replace them was top notch, allowing the replacement to be done quickly, safely and properly. The parts are replaced, the problem solved, and we are using the washing machine today. 

The cold water keep coming on with the hot wash setting. I replaced the Atc Switch Mid Level and it was fixed, very easy job. 

I Replaced The Inlet Valve and ATC Switch. , i'm Sure It Was Either One Or The Other But i Replaced Both To Save Frustration.Has Been Working Perfectly After Part's Replaced 

Replaced the temperature control switch. Machine previously had #WPW10202616, but I replaced it with newer part #WPW10184148 which is functionally and physically identical.
