Jerald C Groton , CT August 08, 2014 Washer agitating before water fill Started with timer, not from APP, first one was broken as ones in the past were. Wife and I installed but did not fix problem. On to Plan B. We blew into the sensor hose and it was clear so we ordered the the switch which was confusing as it went to the fabric softener switch. APP part was cheaper than Sears, when it came in I was at work so my wife popped the control panel off watched the video and in less than 5 mins washer like new. So dont pay for the extended warranties try and do it your self and not only save money but feel good about yourself. After reading the reviews on this site, I decided that the water level control needed to be replaced on my washing machine. I removed the clear hose and blew in it to check for a clog. It was clear. My husband removed the part and took the compressor to it. It still did not operate properly. told my problem to Appliance Part Pros and they indicated that chances are that the water level control is faulty. I ordered the part and it arrived in two days. It fixed my problem! The price was the cheapest I could find too! I will always refer to this site with any future problems I have with appliances!!!
