Theodore H Colonial Beach , VA February 08, 2019 Lid switch and shaking on spin cycle Replace switch last after cabinet was removed, thanks to the videos the task was a lot easier to do. Replace the 4 springs, bought the brackets just in case, but did not need. The washer still shakes on spin cycle without a load, but not as bad. I think someone in the pass overloaded the washer. I probably should have purchase those nylon bushings, which requires to remove the tub, I watch the video. Plus I spent more time cleaning the upper ring and plastic tub. Mike M Del Mar , CA September 18, 2022 Appliance: Model MODEL 110 KENMORE WASHER We have a Kenmore series 90 washing machine over 24 years of use was getting water on the floor occasionally Had replaced all rusty hose clamps, cleaned all the various valves, and checked all around but couldn't find any leaks. My wife thought the internal drum seemed looser than usual. I found a Youtube video on broken tub springs. Ordered these 3 small and 1 long spring along with 2 short and 1 long replacement brackets. And 3 of the spring retainers. Replaced all these parts. The long spring attaches to a hole in the base frame that had rusted out so it had no tension. The other 3 springs were weak and had a lot of wear on the ends that attached to the frame and the retainers. Was definitely the right way to go and replace all these parts. Then an important step after that was to relieve the washing machine. Our 2 front feet were loose - lock nuts were not tight. And the level was off. All works great again. Parts were made in USA, marked Whirlpool on the bags, and of excellent quality. Brackets used 1 screw and a tab instead of a second screw like the original brackets. The parts are an exact fit. I'll use this company again for sure. Their videos are great also.
