Joel C Kansas City , MO October 20, 2019 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 11029822800 Shaking during spin cycle I probably would have been fine just replacing one spring, but I could see the wear on the mounting brackets, so I decided to replace all the springs and all the brackets. For $30, why not just take care of all of it? The video on appliancepartspros helped with replacing the spring, but the video was lacking a step in taking the washing machine apart. Luckily, I was able to find a diagram of the washing machine online. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Catherine M Philadelphia , PA June 09, 2019 Appliance: Roper Washer RAB2121PW3 Water was leaking during the rinse cycles We watched these videos and thought it could be that the counterbalance spring was gone. The washer would start off fine, then when it got to the part of the cycle where it re-fills for rinse, the tub was leaning forward and water rushing out the back. We tilted the washer back and looked underneath and right away saw the counterbalance spring had snapped and was just dangling, not attached to the frame. We ordered the part on here and it arrived the next day. Instead of taking the machine all the way apart, I just tilted it again and my husband swapped out the spring in 2 minutes. Saved us from buying a new washer!! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers

Michael F Eudora , KS August 19, 2018 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 11092583100 My Kenmore washer was going off balance badly. So bad it was literally moving across the floor of the wash room. Had the washer tore down to repair my shaking problem, so thought I would replace some of the parts that were exposed at that time, so I wouldn't have to later. Was easier now than later. Valerie L Byron , NY November 25, 2017 Appliance: Model KENMORE 110.24642300 Washing machine wouldn't spin after rinse cycle. If it weren't for the AWESOME DIY videos through appliancepartspros we would have never tried this, the videos were perfect, spot on! It made the repair very easy to understand ! The shipping was fast and parts were new, in packages ! This didn't fix our problem and we went and bought a new washing machine, but we are super satisfied that we were able to do as much as we did to try to save the old one! (14 years old). Ultimately, we should have replaced the clutch, but with the age of the machine and the fact that we got a nice price on the new one, we would try this again, if necessary! Read More... Bruce M Durham , ME November 10, 2017 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL LA6300XTW0 Suspension spring retainer broke found spring worn 3/4 of the way through bracket worn also. Ordered all 3 parts from Appliance Parts Pros. All in stock with quick delivery. Having the photos of the parts is great. I watched the excellent videos provided by APP and easily replaced all parts. One note when ordering the Suspension Spring Bracket. There are 2 types, Only 1 of part # AP6010171 which has 2 springs on it and 2 of part # AP6010170 are needed. I didn't realize this until I took the brackets off to replace them. If this was mentioned in the parts listing, or the video, I would have ordered the proper quantity of the correct part. They are the same price and look similar in the pictures. They provided the tracking number in an email which is also nice to have. Read More...
