BOTH went out in the same day! I ordered my parts, watched the repair videos and had both appliances fixed in about half an hour. Use a putty knife to lift the top off of the dryer. (I even did it with my driver license as an experiment.) The washer, I just tipped back and leaned against the wall. 2 5/16 nuts for the drive cover, one for the capacitor and 2 phillips screws for the shift actuator. It actually took as long to do the calibration mode as it did to fix the washer. After the repair, you have to go into diagnostic mode then calibration mode if you replace the capacitor. 3 clicks right on the dial, 1 left, 1 right, all lights flash, then turn until rinse is on, then hit start. easy peasy.
