How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012724 / WP8312709 Console Clip

I recently bought a "barely used" Whirlpool washer off of Craigslist. Less than a month of use and it starts shaking uncontrollably during the spin cycle, especially with large loads. Did some research on the model and it turns out the suspension was the likely culprit. Order the parts and they arrived 2 days later from APP. Replacing them was a breeze and now my washer runs like new! 

Replaced the Washer Motor Coupling for the agitator, and will be replaceing the Bleach Dispenser Hose & the Ring-Tub when it arrives, so that the Bleach Dispenser will be working properly again. All the repair directions videos shows how easy it is to make the repairs yourself. 

Ordered lid switch on line from Appliance parts Pros on Monday. The part arrived on Tuesday via FedEx. Took about 10 minutes to switch out the parts and the washer works fine. Thanks for the fast shipment and delivery. rb 

Install a new timer 

Appliance Parts Pros had a video on You Tube to replace the water inlet valve on a Whirlpool Cabrio washer. We had previously replaced the same part twice so we knew what the problem was. The hardest part was removing the console. the video showed my husband how to accomplish this. We ordered the part and it came in a couple of days. Took all of 15 minutes to repace and get my washing machine back in action at a fraction of the cost of calling a repair person. Machine is working great. 

The hose in my washer was plastic, and when I replaced the solenoid the old plastic hose cracked in one of its folds. This new hose seems more of a rubber-plastic hybrid, fit perfectly, and was easy to install using the existing clamps. If you need to replace the solenoid (on one end of this hose), order this, too, in case you need to do the same, or just to have it new while you are already disconnecting one half. 

Replaced clip that holds console in place, one was missing. 

Replacement parts fit perfectly. 

Went on-line to Appliance Pros website; watched the video, ordered the part and in a few days, the parts arrived and I was able to repair the dryer for $41.00 !! 

Replaced the blown thermal fuse. the time it took to fix was slow because I wasn't in a hurry and took apart more than was necessary to make other checks. replacement parts (didn't use all the parts I ordered, now have spares) shipped promptly. happy with fix!
