Jay S Hammond , IN February 07, 2017 Appliance: Model 11029828801 My kenmore washer model 11029828801 was agitating during the fill cycle and the tub would only partially fill also at the end of the spin cycle rinse water was spraying in resoaking the clothes I read the FAQ section of Appliance Pros parts web site. I found out I needed to replace the temperature control switch, WPW10248240, to correct my problem. This switch also controls the tub filling water level based on air pressure via the attached vinyl tubing. I ordered the switch and the tubing, WP353255, in case mine was no longer any good, and I also ordered the retaining clips for the control cabinet, (2) of WP8312709, because they can be damaged when accessing the controls. My new parts arrived quickly and I installed the new switch the same day I received it along with the retaining clips. My tubing was still good so I did not install it since I would have to remove the entire cabinet to replace it. My washer is now operating like new and I am very happy with Appliance Parts Pros. They are a class act web site and the FAQ section of the site is extremely valuable for helping troubleshoot any appliance. My repair took less than 15 minutes to complete. Adam B Winterville , NC February 25, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WTW4800XQ2 Vicious shaking during the spin cycle I recently bought a "barely used" Whirlpool washer off of Craigslist. Less than a month of use and it starts shaking uncontrollably during the spin cycle, especially with large loads. Did some research on the model and it turns out the suspension was the likely culprit. Order the parts and they arrived 2 days later from APP. Replacing them was a breeze and now my washer runs like new! Roger M Drexel Hill , PA January 18, 2025 Appliance: Model 110.26752503 TYPE 111 Leak in the intake hose after solenoid repair The hose in my washer was plastic, and when I replaced the solenoid the old plastic hose cracked in one of its folds. This new hose seems more of a rubber-plastic hybrid, fit perfectly, and was easy to install using the existing clamps. If you need to replace the solenoid (on one end of this hose), order this, too, in case you need to do the same, or just to have it new while you are already disconnecting one half. Read More...
