How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010674 / WP71001799 Oven Control Board

I replaced the oven control board. 

Replaced the oven control board and then saw an F5 error code. It took a new relay board to finally fix but your people were the most help of all that I talked to. I could not believe how fast I got the new parts and Mary Smith was great. Thanks, Rich 

Ordered a new one. 

Great web site. Easy to find part required. Great price. Video on how to install was too generic to be helpful but found good videos on YouTube. Used the 800 number and talked to a technician. He was terrific. Accurate in his assessment, encouraging and delivered. Local appliance repair guy wanted $550 to do the job and couldn't get here for two weeks. I did it for the cost of the board which was $300. 

Replaced it. It was pretty straightforward except for one of the connectors on the board having an odd release/insert mechanism. This is a repair any normal person can accomplish. 

Replaced oven control board (the clock) 

I ordered the oven control panel and replaced with the old one and it worked like a charm. Thanks to Appliance Parts Pros for having this part. 

I was able to install the control board with a little help from my Golden, dropped a screw and Conner brought it back to me. I also used a mirror to see the screw holes rather than bending over upside down. The install took more time than usual but I did get to clean every part before it put it back. I have a duel fuel range and the control panel is on the front of the range rather than the back as shown on the video. All is well, I am a 72 year old woman and my Golden is 7 between the two of us we got it done in about an hour. Thanks Pat and Conner. 

I watched your video and it took me about 20 minutes to replace. Didn't need to involve my husband which was nice! My daughter held it for me while I reattached the new display. Second set of hands was helpful. 

I thought this site was a parts order only so I tried to find some help on various forum only to find out I never needed to go any further than this site and its information. I finally called the number at the top and spoke to a incredibly helpful and kind gentlemen who diagnosed the situation and suggested the oven control board. He also explained the warranty, return process if needed and more about Appliance Parts Pros. My part came as promised. It took, at the very most, five minutes including dis-assembly and reassembly. I am so thankful I found this site.
