How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019236 / WPW10310366 Door Hinge

New hinge arrived within two days! Repair took 30 minutes.

I looked at reviews for Appliance Parts Pros and liked what I read. I entered my dryer information and quickly saw.the parts I needed, and since the cost was ALOT lower than a repair person would have charged, I ordered a few more parts. The online repair video helped me every step of the way, and now my dryer runs and sounds like new. 

I replaced the door hinge and locking latches 

Followed directions as shown on the Appliance Parts Pro site. It took about 45 minutes but I, not known for my handy work, completed the project successfully. 

I removed the screws to take the door and hinge off of the dryer. I had to partially disassemble the door to remove the hinge from the door. The reassembly was easy. 

Replaced hinge. Keep track of screws while you take apart the door and you're in business. 

I think the hinge was starting to get worn. I replaced the door hinge and the clips that hold the door closed. Very easy, no problems, just like the video showed. 

Order the new hinge online. It showed up in two days. Used a Philips screwdriver to take the door off, remove the old hinge, install the new hinge and put the door back on. Took about 15 minutes. 

Ordered new hinge. Received sooner than expected. Installed. Works great. Wife is happy !
