It turned out that something in the freezer was blocking the IR sensor in the door. Quit making ice for two days and I thought it had reached the end of it's life. I had replaced the icemaker before so I checked my purchases and found out I had bought the current unit eleven years ago!
As it turned out, it hadn't quit at all. I'm keeping the icemaker I ordered just in case. I know it's an easy installation because I've done it before.
It's a 10 minute job with a screwdriver and a nutdriver. Every part I have ordered from your company has worked perfectly and the repair videos are amazingly useful to see just what to do and in what order. Keep up the good work!
