How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008256 / WP3385741 Console Assembly

I was a little skeptical but everything I researched on the Whirlpool Quiet Partner III pointed to the control panel since I could NOT reset the dishwasher without the blinking lights reappearing. Easy fix! The part was delivered a day after I ordered and was very pleased with the service 

The LED coutdown panel was just a line, pots and pans and normal buttons were blinking at the same time. No buttons caused any change. No error codes, no obvious wiring shorts. I took a stab in the dark and ordered just the touch panel. Very easy replacement, maybe 15 minutes of work and it was back to 100% operational. I ordered the part in the morning and had it by the afternoon of the next day. Talk about awesome! 

After what feels like 100 years the heating element died. The replacement was super easy and I decided to replace the chopper and a worn out control panel. 

I had the led lights blinking, sometimes it was the "normal" sometimes other ones. Washer would not work, wash, or drain. After opening the door up and taking it apart I didn't see too much wrong. I began reading reviews and other people were having the same problem. It seems that water, or condensation can get into the door and short out some components. I bought the console assembly and just swapped it out. Super easy, so long as you get all the other parts back where they go.

Romoved old face panel and replaced with new unit. Was a breeze. 

Replaced with a new one that I ordered from Appliancepartspros 

I simply replaced the old console with the part sent by Appliance Parts. It went in without any difficulty. Flipped on the power and all went fine.
