This is the third replacement. Always the same problem. The ribbon burns out above two labels on the cable. This takes 18 months and therefore occurs just outside of any warranty. $150 is less than $600. So, the part is less than replacement appliance.

Given the replacement control panel, the installation is simple. Tools = T20 torque and one hex socket. Isolate appliance. Remove cover (T20). Remove Control Board (3 x Hex). Remove Ribbon at Control Panel (Slide receiver and pull). REMOVE LABELS FROM RIBBON.
Replace new panel and re-assemble.
