He said it was the control panel and the cost to replace it would be $437.00 + tax. That was about half the price of a new appliance sooooo, in researching a new dishwasher, I saw a site for dishwasher repair. After a few hours of searching and reading I decided to do it myself. I ordered the part then procrastinated fearing something more could be a problem. Finally I did it - I had to buy an inexpensive screwdriver set but I completed the task. So, I went ahead and ordered a new control board, which arrived much quicker that I expected. I found your video about installing a dishwasher control board very helpful.
