How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013337 / WP8564547 Control Board

The Whirlpool dishwasher Quiet Partner II would sometimes not turn on. When and if it did turn on the lights were erratic and the dishwasher would not run. With help from this site I determined the control board was probably bad. The new control board was easy to install and it solved the problem. My dishwasher is like new again! 

Talking with the parts person who was very helpful, we decided it was the Control Board. Received the part and thanks to an excellent video linked with the part, was able to replace it in 20 minutes. This is the third appliance where I have used Appliance Parts Pros. Best company I have ever done business with. 

Replaced the control board and it is working fine. 

Replaced the control board and replaced the console assembly for a broken button overlay. 

Googled repair instructions. First I tried resetting by hitting alternating buttons heated temp./ ?, and tried resetting the breakers. Nothing worked so per Appliance Pros, the control panel was likely bad. I ordered part. Part came very quickly. I followed video directions that were emailed to me by Appliance Pros. very clear and easy to follow. I amazed by myself by installing this part successfully and saving myself hundreds of dollars! Replaced control board 

After searching for answers, control panel was likely the problem. Called and was told that part could be returned if it did not work. Ordered part, was shipped that same day. After watching instillation video, installed part in about a half hour. Dishwasher was fixed ! It was a good experience dealing with this company, and would not hesitate to use again. 

Watched the quick repair video and removed old board with the new one ordered online and received the next day within 22 hours happy life(wife) thanks 

Installed OEM parts that were ordered. 

We had a repair man come and inspect the unit (Independent). He said he would get the part and get back with us. Almost 8 weeks past, with many calls to the service for an update. So I ordered the part he said was bad, the control board. He did not check the fuse. I ordered the fuse, the new board worked. I removed the new and replaced the old control board. Everything is fine. Thus, I am returning the board. The suggestion to replace the fuse came from your on line tech. He saved me $180, I'm so grateful. AppliancePartPros.com made it so easy. The online videos are spot on. The returning of the control board was icing on the cake. Great service!! Even waiting for the second order, the fuse, I was done and it was running in a week.
