How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6018711 / WPW10285180 Dishwasher Electronic Control Board

Changed out the control board behind the panel. 

I called the helpful people at appliance parts pro. They said it could be three parts, so I ordered all three. It was December 23, and we needed our dishwasher for Christmas. I overnighted the parts, and they arrived on Christmas eve. I watched the video twice before starting. I tested the thermal fuse and there was no continuity. I cut out the defective fuse and replaced it. It worked, a Christmas miracle. I will send back the extra parts for a full refund. I told everyone about the story and I will continue to recommend appliance parts pro in the future. 

Talked to the lady's on the chat line and they walked me through testing the bimetal and limit fuses; not the problem. Problem was the circuit board; I ordered one on Tuesday, part came Thursday and fixed the problem. Dishwasher seems to be working fine now although I have not tested all cycles yet. Could not be more pleased with AppliancePartsPros service and fast delivery. Have added to my goto list for repairs now. 

Changed pc board in door. Looked in YouTube for video. 

Installed new circuit board 

I replaced the control board. It was a reasonable easy replacement. 

Ordered control board, changed in 30 mins and dishwasher works like new again. Thanks appliancepartspros.com.. 

Removed old control board, put in new one. 

Ordered new timer from AppliancePartsPros.com and it was delivered in a timely manner. My husband took out the old timer and put in the new timer. Dishwasher is working fine now. 

New electronic circuit board.
