How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3965227 / 8575076A Fabric Softener Dispenser

Put in new parts after cleaning dispenser well in agitator column. Easy to do but takes some care to bottom out the inner cap assembly to keep the three distribution holes totally uncovered . All went well. 

Ordered the part and was surprise how fast the delivery was. Watched a few video on You tube and tackled the problem, It pay to follow directions, Removed the motor and other hardware and then the gear case. Tried to remove the tub, but found out the gear case had to be bolted in place. Reattached the case and remove the tub. Everything went back in place and running fine. thanks

I bought one for my washing machine. I like to hang out my laundry in the summer. So I ordered a liquid fabric softener dispenser. I also needed an extra part called an inner cap for the agitator. Appliance Parts Pros fixed me up and now my clothes are softer after hanging them outside. 

Bought accessories. 

Just put it where the old one was. 

I couldn't get it cleaned so I bought a new one and replaced it. 

Take the agitator cap off and insert the Fabric Softener Dispenser. 

I took the old one out and put in the new one.
