How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4096820 / 74004105 Bake Element

Replaced with new bake element. After placing order received next day very well packaged would use Appliance Parts Pros in the future. Oven worked as soon as installed. No problems.

I called the local small town appliance repair man for a service call and he said he'd be out. He didn't show so called again and he said he'd be out tomorrow. He never showed. Ordered part was delivered in a few days at a cost of about 2/3 of other web sites. Installation required removing back cover to expose plug in wire and two shrews holding the element. Everything now works fine.
