How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6024131 / WPY04100166 Surface Element

Sent for your parts, which came quickly, replaced old ones, popped in the new, and as good as new! 

Ordered and replaced all four units, and two of the most-corroded drip pans. I regularly take these out for cleaning, so it was no problem to switch in the new ones. I am having trouble getting one of the burners to seat properly. Ordered two extra drip pans. One was damaged but there were five in the package so I threw it away. 

My main burner would no longer heat, swapped things around and determined it wasn't the burner but the terminal that was dead. bought a terminal block kit (and treated myself to a new burner) and with the help of AppliancePartsPros videos, this old lady was able to repair the cooktop myself and I am now back in business. Thank you so much!

We replaced the elements as soon as we got them and the cooktop is working like a charm! 

Decided to do a small facelift and see if replacing the burner element may be the problem. It was not. But I am more than pleased with the products I ordered and delivery. In fact, so very pleased, I am going to investgate/troubleshoot further and possibly attempt to replace the receptacle that the burner element plugs into. I will certainly order my necessary parts from Appliance Parts Pros. 

Replaced the 8" drip pans and a heating coil. It was a snap. Parts arrived in just two days. I was very pleased. 

Bought new burner.The old one was over 30 years old. 

Replaced them. 

The metal from the pan melted onto the element and I could not get it off. I was able to purchase a new element from your online store.
