How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6018421 / WPW10276482 Oven Bake Element

Ordered a new temperature sensor for the oven from Appliance Parts Pros. Received the new sensor in less than two days, (that's lightening fast) Shut off the breaker for the oven, removed the back panel disconnected the wiring to the sensor. removed two screws that hold the sensor in place, pulled the old sensor out.Fed the wire's through the insulation and reconnected the wires,reinstalled the back cover panel. Installed the two screws that hold the sensor in place. Turned the breaker done. It was that easy! 

Removed old element and replaced with New Received new part in less than 48 hours!! SUPER FAST SHIPPING!!! Thanks!! 

I looked on the internet re: the specific problem and it seemed it could be the bake element (I identified it from helpful diagrams) Ordered the part Friday and it was here Monday. Took the small cover off the back of the stove (again per internet instructions) but couldn't get the clips off the old element so called the Pros and was told they are difficult to get off. I don't have a lot of strength in my hands and my husband's hands are too big to fit in the space, so I got a pliers and wiggled them off and didn't break anything. It was easy to hook the new element up but took more time to get the screws to the new element and the bottom oven pan back in. The oven works beautifully and my husband told his friend I saved him the cost of a new stove! 

Got on line and purchased a new element. In about 2 days the new element was delivered to our house. My husband then installed the new element and everything seems to be working correctly. It was an excellent experience. 

My husband was halfway across the world in Tajikistan so it was up to me to fix this problem! I ordered a new element on Saturday -- paid a little extra to get it in two days -- it arrived on Wednesday, just in time for Thanksgiving! A few screws later and we were back on track! Yes, I did it; a woman who gets acrylic nails done every two weeks! 

I checked with a local parts house and after a week they told me that you could not order the element. I pulled up your site and typed in my model number and it showed me the same element I need, I ordered and received in 2 days and replaced in my oven and now I'm back to backing yummy goodness for my family. Thank you. 

I figured out how to get my baking element out of my stove and got the model numer off my stove. I then Had a friend of mine test the element for resistance and it failed so I knew it was the element that was bad. I Googled my model number and brought me up a couple of different sites to purchase my part. Appliance Parts Pro was the most reasonable so I ordered my part through them. They were amazing ..... I ordered my part early afternoon and it was sitting on my doorstep before the next afternoon!!!! I installed the element and now I'm baking again without having to spend a lot of money... Thank you. I replaced the oven bake element. It was very easy. I am glad I did some research because I am sure it would have been much more costly to have a repairman out to do it. 

I got the Maytag Model number from the owner's manual, googled it for repair information, took the link to AppliancePartsPros, found the heating element part, took the link offered to a Utube installation video for oven lower heating elements, ordered the part and when it arrived and installed it. 

Went very well. Took apart and put new element in. Was very pleased with your service. The delivery was very fast. Will use your site again in the future for our parts if needed. The tuitoral on your site was very helpful.
