How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010824 / WP74003019 Oven Bake Element

We ordered a new part from Appliance Parts Pros. 

Watched the video in the parts section (I ordered the wrong part the first time) Call customer service spoke with a nice lady name Joyce. She guided me to my modal number of my stove which is 21 years old, I had my doubts about getting the correct part, Joyce got me two part numbers. One was a male connector type the other was a female connector type. She told me to pull my old element out and compare with your web site pictures, and also gave me some hints on my wiring in the stove so I would not loose the connector. I did match the picture with the correct element. Part arrived and installed it in about 10 minutes. Everything is working great (Maybe even better??) Thank you Joyce once again 

I knew I would want an oven for Easter dinner so I looked online and found Appliance Parts Pros. The part was easy to find using my stove's model and serial number, but the best part was the video which showed the actual repair. Easy Peasy! I'm a 72 year old woman with Parkinson's. Ordered new element and installed in less than 15 minutes. Your ordering catalog was great. 

Very easy to fix. 2 screws and 2 electrical connections. Appliance Parts Pros were the only ones who had the part in stock. Arrived in 2 days. 

Trouble shoot that there was electricity at element when turned on. Replaced element.

I looked up the part from your website. The description as presented was enough plus the part number fit the comparison of my stove part number. The shipping timing was great. The Magic Chef drop in range is 32 years old. I'm glad I didn't have to find a replacement. Saved many bucks!! 

Ordered a replacement element from AppliancePartsPros, which arrived a few days later. Then it was very straightforward to follow the video guide on the website and replace the part myself. This only took a few minutes. Tools used: 1. Phillips head screwdriver to remove the old element, and secure the new one in place. 2. Adjustable wrench to hold the metal connector tips to more easily pull the connectors from the broken element out without putting excess strain on the wiring. 

Replaced the heating element.
