How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014081 / WP9761346 8 Inch Surface Element

Bought replacement burner receptacles. Cut off the old ones, used wire nuts to connect replacements. 

I ordered a replacement element and new drip pan. It was easy to plug in the new element. 

I ordered replacement burners, and they work wonderfully!! They are more responsive and provide consistent, even heating. 

Per your videos. Ordered and replaced the items we purchased. 

We replaced the surface burner with a new one. Then decided to change that burner's control and receptacle. 

Ordered 4 Surface Burners and 4 Drip Pans (6 in. and 8 in) to replace old and well used parts. Received all the parts within 5 days of ordering, installed the parts on my Whirlpool 4 burner rand, and all worked well. If I need future appliance parts I will use ApplianceProParts.com for my appliance parts needs. Great job in todays world of people not wanting to work. 

The repair went well. We just replaced both the control and the burner.
