How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009347 / WP4391960 Dryer Heating Element

I replaced the Heating Element. 

Replaced with a new heating element and cycling thermostat. 

I called AppliancePartsPros.com. I gave him the model number. And the lady was really helpful with the parts I should purchase. I received the parts 2 days later. And I had the dryer going and less than an hour. 

Purchased a replacement heating element from AppliancePartsPros 

Replaced it. 

Removed back of dryer, replaced heating element and cleaned out loose lint in unit. Ohmed out few other switches. 

I ordered the part from you and watched a video on Youtube on how to fix it. It went in perfectly and now my dryer is working again. 

I thought it was the heating element turned out it was a thermostat so I never even open the box. I’m grateful you have easy returns as I am returning the part. Delivery was really quick. I recommend you to all my friends. Thank you so much. 

YouTube, three minutes, look up and order parts, five minutes. Put new element in fifteen minutes. Twelve minutes to take out the screws, it was put in upside down so hard to get out. Three minutes to screw in the new element (screwed in the right way) put the dryer back together, and done! Thanks... 

Purchased a new heating element and installed it. Only problem I had was that the new heating element had a different electrical connector than the old heating element. New heating element had a series 312 faston tab connector which I was not able to locate in any electrical supply houses. I had to modify the connector on the new heating element to accept a series 250 faston tab connector.
