How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005472 / WP12550109Q Refrigerator Door Gasket (Bisque)

It was pretty simple. I watch the first minute of the video just to make sure I knew how to do it and there wasn't something important I was missing. I did have to go back and read what to do if the seal was flat after install. I heated it up with a hair dryer until it all laid flat and I was good to go! 

Replace door gasket. 

Replaced door seal. 

I followed the video instructions to the letter and the install went smoothly. The key to replacing the door gasket was allowing the gasket to set out in the sun so it could regain its shape. My door has screws all around the inside, so I loosened the screws on the upper part pulled out the old gasket and put in the new one. Then loosened the screws on the lower half and finished pulling out the old gasket and putting in the last of the new gasket. Installing both pieces took me 1.5 hrs. 

My brother took the door off, laid it on the table and replaced the gasket.
