How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4299743 / 6802A Grease Range Hood Microwave Filter 5-15/16" X 13-3/8" X 3/32"

Ordered new and replaced it

With the Model # and Serial # it was easy to look up the replacement parts I needed on Appliance Pros.com, ordered them and they arrived within a couple of days. Once they got here, I quickly popped out the old and inserted the new. The project took less than 5 minutes. Done. 

Purchased the items from Appliance Parts Pro and fixed very within 15 minutes. 

I replaced the it with a new part I purchase 

Opened the package and put them into the micro hood combo. 

Replaced them not a problem. Was able to find the part and ordered it. They were here the next day. 

My husband and I bought a house and the grease in the kitchen was CRAZY! Much scrubbing and many cleaners later the place looks much better. I didn't even want to try to clean the grease filters in the over-the-stove microwave. I headed to Home Depot, but apparently they don't carry the filters for the microwaves, only the standard range hood sizes. A quick internet search led to AppliancePartsPros and bing bam boom...perfect filters, just the right size. I'm a happy camper. 

Removed 7 screws parts I received fit perfectly microwave looks new 

Removed filter from bottom of microwave and slid new one in
