James B Newberry , MI March 06, 2023 One of the hinges broke on the washing machine lid. The lid would not stay up by itself. Removed the broken hinge and installed the new one as shown in a repair video. The broken stump was a bit difficult to get out but I was able to use a pliers to remove it. Only one hinges was broken but I replace both just in case. Youtube Video was helpful. I order the parts and received them in less time it would have took to get an appointment scheduled with the repair company I called for a quote. Ouote - $140!! Replaced the factory glass and plastic lid with these parts and it was a perfect fit and easy to install. Now the washing machine looks good and works as it should. Read More...
