How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008640 / WP35-2044 Washer Lid Hinge

Replaced snubber ring & lid hinge. Repair video made this possible and easy. Received parts super quick. 

Ordered parts and replaced hinges

Replaced snubber ring, and spring kit. The parts fit like a glove and repair videos where very helpful for the job. 

Replaced hinge, following the instructions detailed in the video. I'm thinking a 6 year old could have done it once they were shown how to pop the hood. 

Order new pins and hinges. 

Ordered and replaced both sides (hinges) Have replaced hinge parts on one side previously, and the other side previously so I had prior experience . 

I watched YouTube video and it was simple. Pulling out the part was bit different than the one shown on YTube. But i figured it out. 

Watched the video you provided than I knew what parts to order. When the parts arrived it took me about 5 min to do the repair. It now works lime it is brand new. 

Replaced hinge with new part. Two small screws loosened the top of the washer from the back, and a gentle pry on the left and right sides at the front and the top came off. I removed the old hinge... held in place by torx screw and installed the new hinge. Re-installed the top and was done.
