How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013594 / WP89503 Fill Hose

1) Close hot/cold water supply spigots. 2) Using a thin screwdriver or putty knife, open the machine lid by popping the 2 latches in the front seam, about 3-inches in from the corners. 3) Detached water inlet valve from the wire harness and front/back covers. Total of 3 screws (nut driver) and one tab (gently pry up with a small screwdriver or similar). 4) With the valve free of the machine, note the position of each fill hose and detach the hoses (slip-joint pliers). 5) Attached fill hoses to the new valve and reassemble machine in reverse order. 6) Open water supply spigots and test machine for correct water inlet control and temperature. Replaced drain hose, the first hanger was broken and rubbing on the floor. It wore a hole in the hose! Easy replacement with a pair of pliers! 

Took off old hoses and put on new ones. No problem. 

Fixed it by replacing the clutch assembly. 

Water was not really coming in to the washer. Replaced the water inlet part. Hoses for hot and cold water as well. Also replaced the water level pressure switch. Original water inlet and hoses were 10 years old and shot. As soon as I put in new parts and started up the machine. Huge difference. Washer no longer prematurely stops. Washer goes through whole process every single time. Washes anything I put in there no problem now either. I’m just happy your company had the parts for me to fix my washer instead of having to buy a new one . Thank you very much for the parts and the video on how to take out the old parts and install the new ones. 

Replaced the drain pump motor- it was easy and the how to video made it a breeze to fix 

I replaced the tube seal first, I still had a leak so I changed out the spin tube seal I would recommend if you have a water leak change both seals while you have the machine down the parts do not cost that much. 

Installed a new clutch, and while I was at it, I changed the supply hoses (as a precaution). I didn't need to install a motor coupler...it was fine; I'll keep the part as a spare. Your video was excellent...walked me through each step. 

I replaced the drain pump and the drain hose. The machine is working so much better! Don't get the rubber hoses. Get steel braided. Preferably the hose has a 90 degree bend. There are also ones with a safety stop in case the hose breaks. 

Gravity pumped out washer of remaining water. layed the machine on it's front to work from underside.remove water pump retaining clips pry off old water pump to get at rear motor retaining clips. remove sheet metal screws holding motor retaining clips remove clips. unplug motor and lift off motor from transmission replace both plastic pieces of drive coupling and rubber joiner. replace coupling parts and re-assemble with new water pump. i highly recommend replacing water pump with coupling change as it will most likely be seized onto motor. good luck!
