Have replaced Whirlpool icemakers before, no problem. But not an on-the-door icemaker. Was unsure how to remove the housing, but the Appliance Part Pro video was great and showed me how to remove everything. It even told me what size nut driver I would need to borrow from my neighbor! The entire process took about 20 minutes and that was with me moving slowly and referring back to the video so I would do it right the first time. Turned my icemaker back on, closed the door, and in about three hours, I had ice!
Also ordered a new door bin because I had one that had already cracked seriously. Can’t say I was happy about having to replace a bin on a two- or three-year-old refrigerator.
Also, fast service!
