Replaced the ignition switch assembly. It would have been extremely easy, except that the screw heads were stripped on that burner. It took a LOT of effort to remove the screws, so we could lift the stove top. Once accomplished, replacing the assembly was very easy.
My S.O. got the screw heads off, so we could lift the top. But the screws were still totally stuck. I would have bought a new orifice with spark assembly, but my father managed to get the screws out (bored a big hole, put in a bolt, and bored a screw-sized hole in the bolt - wow!).
