How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014402 / WP99002069 Impeller Assembly (Wash)

Replaced the water inlet valve. 

Took out baskets lower washer arm took out upper pump case remove impeller. put every thing back in reverse order. 

I ordered this part, which was the correct part. When it arrived, I installed it and now my dishwasher is back together and working again. Thanks! 

Took everything apart down to the discharge housing assembly but found nothing wrong. Unscrewed discharge housing and found rivet had come off of inner plate. Plate was resting on the impeller. Attempted to epoxy plate back on but didn't last through one cycle. Replaced housing assembly and impeller (not broken but just for good measure). O-ring for housing out of stock. Found similar one used for inline water filter at hardware store. O-ring not exact size but stretched it to fit. Worked fine. 

Took sprayer apart and found broken impeller. Replaced part and works likes new. 

Found broken parts as I disassembled the spray arm, and further teardown found a glass shard that led to breakage. Your wonderful videos would have made my teardown easier... recommend watch a few videos to familiarize yourself with the machine before disassembly. Your probability of parts needed because the problem is very helpful as well. The machine now washing like a new machine. Parts used were impeller and discharge housing. 

I took apart the bottom sprayer assembly and with the help of your parts diagram I was able to determine witch parts were broken. The impeller was totally broken apart and the plastic plate in the discharge assembly was sheared off. 

My husband and I started taking parts off to see what could be wrong with help from the videos. Turned out the housing unit was badly cracked and the underneath part was loose and further tearing up the housing unit. Ordered new parts and replaced them again with videos assistance. Great website. Best it has worked in years. 18 year old unit.
