How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011261 / WP74011580 Burner Control Knob

I changed the control board initially; and the clock started working, along with a least a beep from some of the other control buttons, but no luck on the oven. Changed the front control panel and regained full functionality. Both parts with shipping less than $550; rejuvenated an appliance that would have cost $3500 to replace. Both repairs took less than 30 minutes each. Also changed oven gasket and a few of the knobs. Very easy.

Ordered 4 knobs. 

Bought new burner from appliance parts pros, looked up a pertinent you tube video and proceeded as shown by the video. I am at best an average handyman. The new part was not exact and I had to “guess” at the new wiring. Good news, all works well. 

Just pulled the old ones off and pushed the new o es on. 

I purchased new knobs and a grate foot. 

Ordered replacement parts that were an exact fit - very easy. 

It was very simple to replace the control knobs based on the part numbers shown in the diagram for the model of the range on the AppliancePartsPros.com website.
