How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008102 / WP3362625 Washer Timer Knob

Replaced the knob,righty tightey, lefty loosey screws on & off 

Unscrewed broken piece installed new

Found this great website, and ordered the knob, which cost about $18. That plus shipping beat a cost of over $100 to have a repairman do it. Fantastic!! 

Bought a new, exact replacement knob and screwed it on. 

Ordered a new one. It screwed on with no problem. 

With some guidance from a YouTube video, I tilted the top control console back, grasped the tip of the metal shaft on the inside of the timer with a needle nosed pliers, removed the broken part and screwed on the new knob. I was amazed that the part arrived the day after I ordered it! 

Part came quickly, was as described....job done. 

I called and ordered my part. The customer service rep was very helpful. Got my parts in 2 days!! Fixed it myself the minute I got it. I was very pleased. I was skeptical trying to fix it myself. But it was easy. Granted, it was an easy repair. But, I'm so glad I used your company. I will definitely return. I love my old machine. It cleans so well compared to these "new" machines.
