Jane D Ham Lake , MN March 24, 2019 Door latch and handle broken, and control panel cover split due to age I ordered the parts one weekend over the phone after seeing that one of the parts was back ordered. I was quite concerned that back order meant "never available". The service rep assured me that they would keep me informed. Two days later I received an e mail that all the parts were on the way, including the back order. I had all the parts in hand by the weekend, and my husband and I did the work together, using the handy reference video. It looks like a new dishwasher, and works like a dream! We are very happy! We are impressed by your efficient and friendly service and would definitely order parts from you again. William B Media , PA October 20, 2023 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB9150AWS Broken latch on dishwasher Replaced latch and handle. It was not obvious how to get inside the door to get to the latch, but the "how to" video was very helpful. This was on a discontinued Maytag dishwasher, and many parts are discontinued. You had them in stock. Works fine now. The repair took a day longer than expected because you couldn't see that the handle was broken until the latch was removed from the door. It took another day for the latch to arrive via UPS. Congratulation on the excellent one-day service. I'm still trying to figure out why the plastic handle cost $70. That's why I didn't order it in the first place. Still, the repair cost a lot less than a new dishwasher, which would probably have been necessary if you didn't have the parts.in stock. One unusual tool needed on this model. The door is held together with torx head screws. You will need a torx driver on this model. Read More...
