Jack, In order to get the door latch out, you will need to open the door and remove the screws around the perimeter of the inner door. Once removed you will lift the door and remove 1 screw holding the latch assembly in place. Remove the wire connectors and lift out the latch.

I have no power to the dishwasher using any of the push button switches. There is power going into the right side of the door switch. When the switch is latched, I'm unable to get any power from the left sided terminals. I replaced the switch and I still have the same problem. I even replaced the control panel but the washer still won't turn on. The float switch seems to test out OK on the multimeter. ApplianceParts is sending out another door switch. Am I correct in assuming that once the door switch is latched, there should be power coming out of the left side of the switch? Also, when the door is latched, I can't measure any more voltage on the right side of the switch until the switch is again unlatched. Thanks for your help.

Hello Tom. Check and make sure the door latch is installed properly after replacing the control panel. If so, and the switches do not work, you will need to replace the door latch WP99002292. Hope this helps.
