How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011817 / WP8182634 Door Switch Assembly

Saw the video, purchased the part, saw the video to make sure I followed instruction, switched the part, washer is working perfectly. 

I googled the part and your website came up. It was very easy to navigate through it. I was able to get the blueprint for the washing machine and it was so easy to read. I was able to find the problem area and got the part number. I watched the video and it gave me total confidence to do it myself. I ordered it and had it mailed overnight. It was Sunday before I could get to repairing the machine. My husband suggested we call a repair man to put install it. He and my 11 year old daughter sat in the living room while I went into the laundry room and shut the door to begin working. I could hear them bad mouthing me and snickering. They had a bet!! Anyhow, I looked at the video one more time and began working away. I was able to replace the part without a problem and in 10 minutes I was ready to load the washer. Once I came out of the laundry room and the washer started my daughter and husband were totally surprised and shocked!! I tooted my horn as I moved on to the next chore. Yes I am woman hear me roar!! I have always believed that where there is a will there is a way!! and your video totally made it easy to accomplish this. Thank you for saving me money!!! Catoe Hervey

Replaced the door lock and that fixed the problem. Your videos for the install were great and helpful. 

It took a little time to take off the rubber seal around the tub and to put back but once in it was a piece of cake. 

Purchased new front door interlock latch assembly. 

The DIY video appliance pros provide is the only way I could of done this repair. It was easy step by step. I found the part online and ordered it standard shipping and part arrived next day! only 2 tools used. It actually took less time than expected. Washer is working great! I'm so glad we did not have to pay expensive service fees. Very pleased.. 

The broken door handle was an extremely easy fix. Two screws and it was done. The door latch mechanism was a bit more involved, but the video gave me the confidence to try the repair. It was simple and went without a hitch! I spent more time watching the video than I did on the actual repair.
