How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011817 / WP8182634 Door Switch Assembly

Replaced the Switch. 

I repaired the door lock but find it still faulting to a F code. Next thing to do is check drains. I got exactly what I was asking for and made the repair in less than 10 minutes and saved nobody to boot. Thank you to Appliance Parts Pros again. Easy site to use and get genuine parts for repair. Will definitely use again and again.

Replaced with new part. 

Replaced the door latch assembly, after watching appliancepartspros video. 

That was easy. It took my 5 yr old son and I all of about 9 min and that was with him turning the screws. Took some star tip bits to do this one. 

I searched the problem on UTube and found your video after looking at a few others. It look a lot easier than the ones that had you taking off the whole top and front. I watched it twice, then ordered the part from your website. I got the part like two days later. I didn’t even need to watch the video again. Within 3 - 5 minutes I had the part replaced and the washer back in service. I would never have attempted this if I hadn’t seen you video. Thank you. 

I went on YouTube and watched a short video of how to replace the switch. It took me less than ten minutes to replace the switch and get the machine back in operation. The video was a great help.
