How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5985061 / W10811156 Panel-Cntl - Wht

Ordered new panel and installed it with help of video. 

Once we determined the problem was in the soft touch buttons accross the fron of the unit we replaced the front upper control panel as one piece. Super easy and now works like new again. 

We ordered the Panel-Cntl . 

Replaced control panel. 

TOO TOO SIMPLE AND EASY. REMOVED DOOR SCREWS, LIFTED OUTER DOOR. UNSCREWED DISPENSER AND REPLACED WITH NEW. TIGHTENED SCREWS. DONE. CONTROL PANEL UNSCEWED FROM DOOR. REMOVED PARTS FROM OLD PANEL AND PUT THEM IN NEW PANEL. REATTACHED NEW PANEL. DONE 

I ordered a new front panel. 

Removed old panel and replaced with new one. Straight forward process with the exception of broken plastic stud on old panel. Broken stud simply turned and would not allow screw to unthread allowing large interior door panel to be removed. Fortunately I was able to get a very thin needle nose pliers pushed between door frame and panel enough to grasp the plastic stud and prevent it from turning while removing the screw. New panel installed without incident. Dish washer went back to working as expected. 

Unit would start after pushing the start multiple times so I knew it was TouchPad. Ordered part. Came really fast, no problem qwhat so ever. Will use them again in future. Better then sears parts. AAA+++++excellent 

Took off panel and swapped out board. Pretty easy.
