How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5985061 / W10811156 Panel-Cntl - Wht

I ordered a new panel. Took off the old panel, unhooked the latch, unplugged the electronic cables plugged in the new cables, hooked up the latch and screwed it back to the dishwasher. The only problem(not really a problem)was you need a star driver bit to take the panel off and put it back on. 

Entered my model number, read a few reviews, had a quick online chat with customer service to ensure this was the right part, paid, and I had the part the very next day. For the actual repair, I watched a handy video on this website, then removed 6 screws, and was basically done. Super easy. 

Removed 4 screws unplugeg part and installed new part it took all of 10 mins. 

Replaced plastic control panel. Handle attaches to it with one screw. Panel is held in with only six screws.
