How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4365077 / 6-919765 Panel- Con

I incorrectly diagnosed the problem as the control circuit board and bought the board from another on-line store where it took almost a week to receive it. The control panel (# 6-919765 ) was the correct fix that I ordered from AppliancePartsPros. I was skeptical of the reported 1.7 days with standard shipping but I ordered mine on Monday morning and had it on Tuesday afternoon. Quick install by removing the inner door panel, moving the door latch and circuit board out of the way, and installing the new control panel with 3 bolts and transferring the 2 half-dollar size outer door clips from the old panel. The new control panel worked perfectly. These guys are great! 

After receiving the new control panel from AppliancePartsPros.com in just two days (much faster than I expected), I found a good how-to video covering my dishwasher on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny8jZEUK5wo) and with that for info and backup, I proceeded to replace the control panel. Took about 1/2 hour start to finish and... solved the problem completely ! The dishwasher now operates like new, with all options available. I figure that the low price for the part from AppliancePartsPros.com, plus making the repair myself saved me several hundred dollars at least. Good part, good price, great shipping = very satisfied customer.

I had a professional replace the part before and watched. Watched the video on the site plus a few others. This time I tried it myself. All went according to the video. Two things different - one, I did not disconnect all the cords and cables, just the one to the soap dispenser, and had plenty of room / slack to move the box out of the way. The 2nd was when I removed the last bolt to remove the front panel, the entire door suddenly slammed shut very hard. Not sure how that happened, the outer cover came off with the impact and I feared I had broken other parts. But all was well, I made sure to hold the door for the rest of the repair.

Checked you tube, found a guy working on the same model, orders the part I needed or hoped I needed. The part showed up less then 24 hours, fit perfect. My problem solved! Thanks for the fast shipping! 

Using the serial number of the machine I was able to order the replacement panel from ApplianceParts Pros.com. . Delivery was less than two days {amazing}. With the help of a Youtube video I was able to replace the panel in less than 2 hours and, the machine works like new.
