R. The heated dry button/keypad has failed and is producing a constant "closed" circuit, you'll need to replace the control panel/keypad assembly. You forgot to attach a proper model number, we could've supplied the part number for the console. Thanks,

Hello Dean, use a multimeter and confirm there is 120v going to the control board, if ok check the condition of the ribbon harness that goes to the control panel/keypad.

Hello Nelson, the repair part is WPW10175238 control panel. One or more of the keypads are faulty,this causes the dim light symptom and also prevents the control board from running a cycle.

Dishwasher Dan, The issue with the unit would be in the control board. If the thermal fuse was bad then the entire unit would not operate. The part number for the control board is W10597041.

Clark, With the 2 lights showing dimly and the unit not starting, you will want to first check the door switches to make sure that they have continuity and if they check ok then the control panel would be the issue and need to be replaced.
