Harold K Beaver , PA September 24, 2016 Dishwasher would not run no lights lit on key pad I wasn't sure if the problem was going to be the key pad or the electronic control board, so I ordered both parts. The key pad fixed the problem, so I will be returning the control board. I had a bit of concern because I wasn't sure how the ribbon cable connector worked, but it turned out to be pretty easy. You slide the top part of the connector back along the axis of the ribbon cable to take it apart. Insert the ribbon cable from the new key pad and just snap the connector back together. Simply remove all the screws from the inner side of the door, pull the old electrical cable and then the panel comes off easily. The installation of the new one is simply the reverse of that. After seeing the damage, I went to this site plugged in my model number for the dishwasher and found both pieces within minutes. Received the parts in 3 days, installed in about 15 minutes. We ordered the new touch pad, installed it by watching the step by step video and our appliance is now working wonderfully.
