Robert W Fullerton , CA February 22, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer DG482 The drum was turning only with limited load in the dryer also there was a large amount of noise as the drum turned I called a local repair company to solve the problem. He replaced the blower fan and the belt. This did solve the noise problem but the drum still wasn't turning properly. I called the tech back and he came out to further investigate. He said that the motor was worn out and needed to be replaced. Also, he suggested that we replace the rollers and gas valve coils as a preventive measure to future problems. He gave me the list of parts and I did a search and discovered AppliancePartsProscom. All the parts were available. My order arrived in great shape. The videos were very helpful in taking apart the dryer and replacing all but the motor. The tech came out and switched the wires from the old to the new motor. I was able to put together the machine with no problem.
