How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008659 / WP35-6465 Drain Pump Assembly

I determined it was the drain pump when seeing no water leaks except around drain pump pulley. I ordered the new pump Saturday online and it arrived Tuesday which was great. Already had the front panel off so i just disconnected the two hoses, removed three screws, removed old drain pump. Installed new pump (had to tilt machine back a little to get belt hooked on the pulley), installed everything else in reverse order, put some clothes in and runs great. No leaks, no loud noises. 

Simple repair, once you have the pump. Arrived within 2 days "amazing" 

Installed new drain pump nice you have pictures on website cause pump listed [by mod.# and ser. #] was not the same as oem in washer but checked the picture and found the correct one, price was also very good 

After watching the video. I was able to fix it myself. 

I ordered the Drain Pump assembly and replaced it myself and now not a drop of water leaks 

Replaced pump and all was good. the part was a in and out no problem. doing wash that day like it was new again 

Determined that the water pump was going bad. Purchased a new pump from ApplianceParts Pros.com
