How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008294 / WP338906 Flame Sensor

Just changed the Dryer Gas Valve. 

Replaced High limit thermostat, gas valve coils (kit),flame sensor, flat style dryer igniter and dryer cycling thermostat...Not sure if all parts had to be replaced, but for just over $100.00, less then the cost of a service call, the problem was fixed, I thought it was worth the money. Now this 20 year old Maytag is drying like new!!! All parts were delivered in about 24 hours from time order was placed. People at AppliancePartsPrss.com are very helpful in diagnosing the problem and advising which parts might need to be replaced. 

Went to your websight and found probable causes and replaced all the little parts suggested. They were extremely easy to find and with your help extremely easy to fix. Just watched your vidios. Took my time and actually enjoyed in home repair. Best thing I could have done. 

Installed heat sensor which was very easy because once you remove front panel you can see all the things to check with your multimeter of which i just learned how to use,checked heat sensor and it was bad, so i ordered it,. my dryer was 9 or 10 yrs.old so for good measure i also ordered 2 gas valve coils and installed them althow old coils were still good. ordered parts about 2 o'clock and next day they came . very good service and fast. next project i will order from again. 

Dryer is 30 years old, found broken wire tab on flame sensor, cleaned dryer and replaced sensor, dryer work like new. 

After order all parts from appliancepartspro it cost me more than $200 dollar and i replaced all parts for my gas dryer it still not heat , hey this is my problem not ( appliancepartspro) i try my challeng,and when i spoken to every staff at appliancepartspros they recommend need a digital meter to check first, but i want to try every things about a washer or dryer for future if need fixed like i have today,i have try some company sale parts online they all fake telling you parts in stock take your money then next day sending email ( parts you order was cancel because no longer exited that is rip off , please this my story all parts i order of ( appliancepartspros ) i will keepit all and for future use, Thank you to appliancepartspros ?????????? Watched video, narrowed down possibilities to 3 broken parts and replaced all 3. Since I was in a hurry I went to local store. They wanted $165 for the parts. You had them for $65 so I ordered them from you and they arrived in 2 days 

Replace the gas valve coil kit and works like a new machine, it took me longer to write this than the repair

Monitor voltage on terminals of flame sensor, erratic readings. Also, after inspection of flame sensor noticed small dark circle on sensor face. Replaced Flame Sensor first, corrected problem. Then replaced Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit for good measure.
