How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007914 / WP33001003 Dryer Lint Filter Screen

Ordered a replacement filter. 

Ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. 

Lint filter head holes. Our clothes dryer is more than 30 years old but working fine. The fact that I could find a replacement filter after all these yours was really something. I found a replacement filter at your store. It arrived promptly and fit perfectly. 

Ordered new belt and filter. Removed 2 screws from lower front cabinet. Removed front (Good Youtube videos available). Removed front of drum support (4 screws). Installed belt, turn dryer around and removed plate on rear. Installed belt on pulley and idler. Vacuumed lint from inside cabinet. Reassembled. Works fine. 

Put the new filter in when it arrived. 

Replaced drum belt and blower wheel assembly, Now it is as quiet as a mouse. The repair was an easy fix. 

Replaced dryer belt. Maytag dryer was 32 years old. Cleaning lint after removing drum was most time consuming. Also installed new lint filter. 

Opened the machine and blower housing, replaced the blower fan. Put the machine back together and placed the new screen. Works great now for a 35 year old machine 

New filter.
