How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007929 / WP33001621 Timer Knob Skirt

I ordered a replacement part. Took the current knob apart and replaced it with the new. 

Watched a video on AppliancePartsPros website. Ordered the right part and fixed the problem in 5 minutes 

I received the new dryer timing skirt within 2 days. On the site there was a video showing exactly how to replace the part. Followed directions. Easy peasy. I'm back in business. 

Once I received the part, I took the old knob apart - the knob is in 3 parts. I saved the other 2 parts and installed them on the new timer knob skirt. It popped back together beautifully and then put the knob back on the dryer. It worked great. 

AppliancePartsPros.com had the parts I needed. Easy to identify them and easy to order. Really pleased to find the parts online.

I have used AppliancePartsPros in the past and they are my first go to. I provided the model number and the appropriate part was found. The most helpful tool was APPs instruction video that demonstrated how the knob is assembled. Without the video, I probably would not have ordered the part since it did not look like the original knob. Once arrived, I was able to disassemble the knob and reassemble the outer parts on the new Knob shell. Very reliable and helpful site. By the way part arrived on time and as expected. Thank you. 

Simply watched a video available here at Appliance Parts Pros for removal and installation of the timer knob skirt. It made the change out very easy to perform. 

Ordered the part, watched the video and replaced it. 

Since my Neptune Dryer is 20+ yrs old now, I didn't think I could find parts for it any longer. But a quick online search by dryer model number brought me to Appliance Parts Pros. Turns out they had the part in stock and I ordered it and it came in 2 days. Reassembled the knob with the new part and voila! Everything works as before!
