How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011676 / WP8066018 Detergent Lid Spring

I replaced the soap dispenser door and spring following the video provided by AppliancePartsPros. The repair went quickly and easily. Thanks APP. 

Ordered new dispenser lid, detergent lid pin, and detergent lid spring. All came by the next day and problem was solved. Great response by AppliancePartsPros.com. 

I ordered the parts to fix it and watched a video on line on how to do it. It was very helpful and now everything is good. 

I researched the issue and determined that it was worth my time to change out the lid spring and latch kit before I called a repair service. I successfully repaired it and saved myself a 75.00 service call fee. 

I replaced the spring by followed the direction on your how to video. 

Replaced the door spring 

After looking at your video I ordered the above parts. I must note that I ordered the parts on line in the afternoon and received them the following morning. Thank you for quick service. I would have had problem installing the spring if not for you excellent video. 

I carefully screwed a tiny screw into the plastic lip of the slot that the spring sets into to keep the spring in place so that the lid would work. 

Replaced the spring as per the video on the website. Good instructions. 

Your video was essential. I wonder if my old one would work if I tried; they look the same.
