How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5263280 / W10400895 Tub Centering Spring Kit

Easy fix. Parts were almost like a plug and play puzzle and Appliance Parts Pros made it easier by shipping the parts in secure containers to prevent damage and were super timely. We debated over buying a new washing machine but this repair was too easy. Additionally, the many instructions by Appliance Parts Pros on their website and others on the internet. The machine runs like new now. 

I ordered the suspension kit and the centering springs kit. I discovered half the bushings we're missing and there was no centering springs. The tub was too heavy for me to lift so my wife helped hold it up to replace the suspension rods. I added the centering springs on the right side of my tub. I haven't done another load as yet, but. I'm sure that it will work just fine now. Thanks for the quick delivery of the new parts. The video was great help to get this repair done correctly. 

I purchased The suspension rod kit. I didn't need to buy the suspension bearing kit because they came with the rod kit. The rods did not look bad but I replaced them anyway because looks are deceiving. I also replaced the tub centering springs because two were missing and I couldn't tell if the other two were worn. The centering springs don't look like they could put much pressure to center the drum but low and behold after installation the problem was solved. I think if I knew what I know now I would have tried just putting 4 new tub center springs on and see if that did the job first. The video was very helpful but I also checked out a few on you tube and they were beneficial too.

Suspension rods and 2 springs 

I took it upon my self to fix both washer and dryer. My husband did contribute some. I researched and ordered parts from appliancepartspros.com Parts were very easy to order, just put in the model number. Parts arrived within a week and were very good quality. I replaced springs and spring kit on washer and timer on the dryer. Both work perfectly now. 

Washer was going crazy banging and bouncing all over the floor. It was hard to believe that weak suspension rod springs would cause this, but I went ahead and changed them anyway, and believe it or not but washer works great now. 

Replaced suspension rods and tub centering springs. The tub is heavy may need two people to replace. 

Ordered the parts for the washer. I have a Whirlpool washer that needed new suspension rods. Once replaced washer worked like brand new. Parts came in a timely manner, packaged well to protect the item.
