Enrique C Tracy , CA September 17, 2016 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL Would not clean spray bars not moving After a Google search I determined my main pump had died. Had bought parts from Appliance Parts Pro a few months ago. The drain and fill pump on the same dishwasher had died. looked up my dishwashers model and found the part I needed. Bought the new pump with overnight shipping, found a YouTube on how to replace it. New part came in the next day, and managed to replace it in about 30min. Nice that the machine was designed to be serviceable. So I took apart the old motor and confirmed that indeed the motor was the root cause, motor shaft was difficult to turn, motor would stall and not function. Rob M North Olmsted , OH May 13, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher GU3600XTVB0 Whirlpool dishwasher would stop moments after pushing start diagnostics error 6 1 Possible bad parts, per factory error code sheet for 6-1 errors was - washer motor, diverter valve, door latch switch. Most others have found the washer motor to be the cause, and it comes with a diverter valve and the entire sump plate that holds all the parts together. So I bought that combo after checking door switch continuity. It worked! Comments Putting the new sump plate in required a little Vaseline. It's a tight fit and wasn't seating completely when dry. If I knew how to check the diverter valve, I would have done that before ordering. 1/3 the cost of the combo kit. Guess I could have ordered both and returned one but the hassle of installing a part and then attaching the dishwasher to check if that was the broken part seemed not worth the extra money. Chat with APP employees was awesome. Patient and helpful people. Roberto M Santa Rosa , CA August 08, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDE70FVSS2 Pump had plastic piece stuck in it and motor burned I wish I could buy the motor only since it's an easy twist install but I had to buy the whole kit $$$. Replacing it was easy, just disconnected the spray arms, wires and unsure 3 bolts. Push the old one out put the new one in the whole thing with the machine laying on its back. Dennis H Spring Hill , TN August 06, 2016 The wash pump went out Ordered pump, motor and more as an assembly. Installed it. Everything worked as it should when completed. Price was set right on the pump and motor assembly and made it easy to upgrade the rest of the assembly. It was not hard to do the exchange. The hardest part was to determine the pump and motor needed replacing. Kyle B Caldwell , ID April 08, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher GU2800XTVB2 Wash motor failed (6 1 error) After pushing the start button, the dishwasher would try to start the wash cycle but would eventually time out. After running diagnostics it was flashing 6 times which meant it had something to do with the wash motor. I actually had a tech come out to make sure this is what was wrong and he tried replacing the board first, which turned out not to be the problem. After a $60 service call fee and no fix to the problem, I decided to replace the wash motor assembly. It took me about an hour to get the assembly switched out and the dishwasher fired right up when I was finished. Robert S Racine , WI January 03, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDE70FVSS0 Slow leak out bottom of dishwasher Replaced bottom pump assy. The only issue was one of the connectors had become corroded due to water leak. I ended up soldering a couple wires directly to the circuit board and used some butt splices to connect to the wire harness.
